Save My Cents x Smart Women Invest Podcast

I just did my first podcast y’all! There is so much information for me to convey, spoken word can often get that out more quickly than written. You can listen to it directly over at Smart Women Invest’s website. I appear around minute 6:00

A couple of fun facts about this podcast

  1. I called into this podcast while I was abroad in Germany. My call unfortunately dropped 3 times!! They did such a great job making the recording sound super smooth
  2. I had an idea of what I was going to be asked, but most of the Podcast was essentially done off the cuff. I often reflected afterwards wondering if there was maybe something more insightful I could have said, but Michelle and Jennifer made the entire experience SO comfortable and fun. Thank you guys so much (also, their voices are addictive to listen to!)
  3. I don’t always sound this way. I got some presentation training on the job which taught me to eliminate some “ums” and also end the end of my sentences on a down tone. Women often end the end of their sentences, sounding like a question mark, which makes the statement sound less confident. In listening to this podcast it made me feel good that the training has paid off!
